Description |
This is a photograph, developed as a slide, of the damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The color image shows a frame home that has been pulled off its foundation by the storm. The concrete front steps and railings seen to the right remain in the spot where the house once stood. The Cape Cod style home is heavily damaged with broken windows and parts of the roof missing. A timber has been placed across the driveway to prevent access to the site. |
