This is a photograph of the Oak Lawn Round-Up Days Parade in 1953. The black & white image shows a color guard westbound on 95th Street at 53rd Avenue as they pass the reviewing stand. The guard preceded a marching band not visible in the photo. The edge of Behrend's Hardware Store is visible on the left and the edge of the Hearty Eats Restaurant is seen on the right in the background. A crowd of spectators is watching the parade pass. |
