Description |
This is a photograph, published in the Chicago Sun-Times, of two Oak Lawn police officers standing in front of a cache of guns and ammunition seized from an Oak Lawn home during a raid. The black & white image shows Oak Lawn Police Chief John Haberkorn, left, and Detective Chief Frank Gilbert standing by two tables filled with an array of long guns and handguns as well as boxes of ammunition. The story in the newspapers said the raid was conducted after the suspect was arrested at an Oak Lawn motel after he attempted to sell ten pounds of marijuana to an undercover police officer. The suspect had a stolen handgun on his person at the time of the arrest and bragged about his arsenal at his home. |
