Description |
This is an aerial photograph of the Oak Lawn Baseball fields (now known as Ernest "Ernie" Kolb Field) located at 99th and Central Avenue. Central Avenue is seen running from the top of the photo (north) to the bottom (south) in the photo along the west side of the baseball fields. 99th Street is running left (west) to right (east) along the south side of the fields. The Oak Lawn Public Works department offices and garage are seen to the north of the fields and are boarded by the railroad tracks. Oak Lawn Lake is partially visible in the very upper portion of the photo. Residential neighborhoods are seen in the surrounding area. |
