This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The black & white image shows two men lifiting a furnace from the rubble of a damaged home. A fireman, in his turnout coat and helmet is directly behind them and two more people can be seen searching the debris. Other damaged homes can be seen in the unidentified neighborhood in the background. |
