This is a photograph of the Oak Lawn Centennial Parade in 1982. This event celebrated the 100th Anniversary of when Oak Lawn was first subdivided. This photograph features a truck from the Handy Andy Hardware store located at 8900 S. Cicero Avenue in the parade. It features a log cabin with a small fenced yard complete with a tree and an American flag. A small boy can be seen in the 'yard' of the float. |
