This is a photograph, circa 1900, of Carl Benck, his wife, Elizabeth (Jorn) Benck, and their daughter Emma. The black & white image shows an man and a woman, both seated in chairs,and a young girl standing behind them. The Bencks lived on the north side of 95th Street, a few doors east of Cook Avenue. Carl Benck was one of Oak Lawn's first trustees. |
