Description |
This is a photograph of controlled burn of a home located at approximately 7102 West 111th Street in Worth, Illinois. The home was next to the Worth Fire and Police Department. It was burned down in 1976 with multiple fire departments from surrounding towns participating in the training exercise. In this photograph, several Worth fire fighters are standing by with hoses to monitor the fire which can be seen in through the windows of the structure. Fire fighters in this photograph are Gerald S. Carley, seen just right of the center photograph, with white helmet. Also visible, in no particular order, are Larry Yott, Don Albright, Stan Sokolowski, and Bill Voider. A fire engine is seen in the background through the smoke. |
