This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The color image was taken at Airway Trailer Park, 9101 S. Cicero Avenue and shows rescue efforts underway. Men are searching the debris of ruined mobile homes while a crane, seen on the left side of the photo, is used to move heavier pieces of rubble. |
