Description |
This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The black & white image shows the back yard of Florence Martin's home at 9604 Merton Avenue. The garage, seen on the right side of the photo covered in snow, was demolished and the roof came to rest on top of the car. It was later discovered that the car sustained only minor damage such as some scratches in the paint on the car's roof. |
