Description |
This is a photograph of the 1967 snowstorm which blanketed the Chicago area, including Oak Lawn, with several feet of snow. The blurry black & white image was taken in front of the Alstrom home at 8736 S. Sproat Avenue the day after the storm. A large mound of snow fills the right side of the photo, with only parts of the neighboring houses visible. On the left side, the back end of a car can be seen. |
