Description |
A tree "grows" in the Children's Room at the Oak Lawn Public Library. It is meant to mimic the outline of a tree in nature; it is large and takes up the entire wall it is nailed to. Paper-mache bark was added to the tree to give it a realistic and natural appearance. This photo shows the wall color being painted from yellow to blue. The blue color is meant to respresent the sky behind the tree. |
