Description |
This is an aerial photograph of the Oak Lawn Park District Ice Arena and the Central Pool located at 9320 S. Kenton. The street seen running diagonally in the bottom of the picture is Kenton. 94th Street is seen in the middle at the top of the photo and dead ends at the pool. St. Paul Lutheran Church and School located at 4660 W 94th Street are seen on the right, behind (west) of the Ice Arena. The Oak Lawn Hilton Inn, located at Cicero Avenue and 94th Street (9333 South Cicero Avenue), is visible in the upper left of the photo. The intersection of Cicero Avenue, running left (south) to right (north) and Southwest Highway is visible to the right (north) of the Hilton. Kole Pontiac occupies the southeast corner of the intersection. A gas station occupies the southwest corner of the intersection. Jedi's Garden occupies the northwest corner of the intersection and Boston Market occupies the northeast corner of the intersection. Trailers located in the Airway Mobile Home Park can be seen in the upper right of the photo. Businesses along Southwest Highway and home located on the east side of Kenton Avenue are also visible. |
