Description |
This is a slide of damage caused by the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The color image shows a brick house on with a large hole in the roof. Ray Murphy, the photographer, said that a green Volkswagen was dropped into the roof during the storm. The building to the right of the house was a restaurant near the northeast corner of Damen and 87th. |
