Description |
This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The color image shows the heavily damaged Frank Tourangeau home at 9417 Menard Avenue which was eventually demolished. The Ralph Halsten home, 9421 Menard Avenue, to the right (south) has been completely destroyed. Damaged homes in the 9700 block of Massasoit, one block east of Menard can be seen in the background. Furniture and debris are piled along the edge of the driveway. |
