This is a photograph of Lucille Henthorne, Chairman of the Oak Lawn Safety Council (left) and Oak Lawn Mayor Fred M. Dumke (right) presenting the inaugural 1972 Beautification Award to Terry Ingerson, a Shell Oil Company Territory Manager. The Shell service station at 5111 West 95th Street was the recipient of the award from the Oak Lawn Safety Council. Ingerson accepted the award on behalf of Shell Oil. The award was to become an annual presentation. |
