This is a photograph of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Oak Lawn Park District in 1994. This photograph features children lining up to ride their decorated bikes in a parade. They are in the parking lot of the Park District's Little White Building located at 9514 South 54th Avenue. The Little White Building is used as a pre-school and summer camp location. They are being greeted by Seemore The Eagle, the mascot of the Eagle Eye Neighborhood Park Watch program. The parade took place on the streets surrounding Oak Lawn Lake and Lakeshore Park. |
