This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The black & white image shows a person walking among damaged vehicles on the Oak Lawn Community High School athletic field west of Menard Avenue. A damaged home can be seen in the background on the left. The communication tower in the Oak Lawn Public Works yard at 98th Street and Central Avenue can be seen in the far background on the right. |
