This is a photograph from the 1976 American Bicentennial celebration parade held in Oak Lawn. Pictured is the Indian Guides float moving westbound down 95th Street near Cook Avenue. Several adults and children are riding on the float. Radio antennas at the Center of Public Safety, located at 9431 South Cook Avenue, can be seen in the left and the 5210 Office Building is in the background on the right. |
