Description |
This is a photograph of controlled burn of a home located at approximately 7102 West 111th Street in Worth, Illinois. The home was next to the Worth Fire and Police Department. It was burned down in 1976 with multiple fire departments from surrounding towns participating in the training exercise. In this photograph, several Worth fire fighters are standing by with hoses to monitor the fire which can be seen in through the windows of the home. In this photograph, Frank Bonham can be seen using a pike pole on the south side of the structure while other fire fighters on the ground hold a hose spraying a fine mist in his direction. Identified fire fighters in the photograph include Joe Parisi (no helmet), Gerald S. Carley, very right of photograph, white helmet, and in no particular order, are Jack Lawton, and Donal Albright. |
