This is a photograph of the Gaslite Girls performing at the Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce 25th Anniversary Installation gala. The black & white image shows a group of women, on a stage, high kicking while the audience watches from below. The event was held at St. Nicholas Helenic Orthodox Church, 4501 W. 103rd Street, on January 29, 1972. The Gaslite Girls performed with the Gaslite Road Show, a band made up of five jazz musicians. The other entertainment at the gala were Jerry Murad's Harmonicats. |
