The 1982 Oak Lawn Centennial celebrated the 100th anniversary of when Oak Lawn was first subdivided. This photograph features the Oak Lawn Kiwanis Club float being pulled by a car, moving westbound on 95th Street just east of 54th Avenue. A pair of draft horses can be seen behind the float. Spectators line both sides of the street to watch the Centennial parade. Pat Harvey Women's Apparel, located at 5351 West 95th Street, and Freshline Foods, located at 5355 West 95th Street, are seen in the background. |
