Description |
This is a photograph of controlled burn of a home located at approximately 7102 West 111th Street in Worth, Illinois. The home was next to the Worth Fire and Police Department. It was burned down in 1976 with multiple fire departments from surrounding towns participating in the training exercise. In this photograph, several Worth fire fighters are using hoses to monitor the fire which can be seen in through the windows of the home. Gerald S. Carley is visible in the left of the photograph wearing the white helmet. Other fire fighters in the photograph include, in no particular order, Ken Murphy, Steve Kenny, Stan Sokolowski, Gary Fox, and Mario Irigoyen. |
