Summary |
This is the Oak Lawn Community High School yearbook, "Shield", 1994. The cover has a smooth glossy finish and a black background. A mottled black and silver frame surrounds an image of stars and a galaxy. The phrase "These Are the Days" is printed in shades of purples and blues across the image at the top. An hourglass, tipped on its side, lies across the image and the title & year are printed below it in white. The artist's signature, Naveen Babu '93, is printed on the right side of the hourglass. The school name and year are printed in white on the spine. The back cover contains another image from the same artist; the hour glass is in the lower right corner & is cracked. Broken glass and water drops are scattered around it. A red rose lies across the upper part of the back cover and a planet set against space appears to be escaping the broken hourglass. |
