This item is a yearbook of famous magicians including former Oak Lawn resident Jack Gwynne who is also featured on the cover. There are also depictions of many tricks and illusions including one developed by Jack Gwynne called "The Sphinx". Gwynne's career stretched more than five decades beginning in Vaudeville and later moving into other mediums such as television. He also worked with many other famous magicians including Harry Houdini. |
