This item is a holiday card sent by John L. Schwen to James R. Bennett. The card features an image of a soldier on the front and the emblem for the 79th Infantry Division inside. At the time James was serving in the United States Army during World War II. He later became a captain in the Oak Lawn Fire Department and commander of the Johnson-Phelps V.F.W. Post 5220. |
