This is an oral history interview with Robert Stegmann. The interview is approximately fifteen minutes in length. The conversation covers his life and experiences focusing on the 1967 Oak Lawn Tornado. Robert Stegmann was working at Allied Radio, an electronics store, on April 21, 1967. His father, Walter Stegmann, picked him up at work after the tornado struck so that they could work with Red Cross operations. Robert brought radio equipment with him to assist in rescue operations. |
