This item is a 33 1/3 RPM record featuring tracks from the Glenn Miller Orchestra recorded in 1944 during World War II. Oak Lawn resident Alfred Aulwurm played violin and performed with the orchestra in different parts of the country including New York, Chicago and St. Louis. Later, Alfred was a member of the Southwest Symphony Orchestra. |
