This is a magazine advertisement for the Camco Drum Company. The small ad has a photo of drummer Eddie Knight surrounded by a Camco drum set. At the bottom of the ad, the business address is listed as 9221 S. Kilpatrick Avenue. According to Knight's biography, he was a native of South Bend, Indiana who began playing professionally while he was in high school. Although he was offered opportunities to tour with well known bands and singers, Knight chose to remain in South Bend. He was played locally, taught drum lessons, and was considered an icon among musicians. |
