This is an oral history interview, approximately forty-two minutes long, with former Oak Lawn resident Joan Brinnehl. The interview covers her life and experiences in the village beginning in 1932 and touches on a number of topics including the Round-Up. Joan's father, Edward England, built the family home at 9309 s. 54th Avenue, about 1928. Her parents sold that home in 1951 and moved away for about five years. |
