Title Oak Lawn Round-Up Days Parade, 1952
Description This is a photograph of the 1952 Oak Lawn Round-Up parade as it moves down 95th Street toward 54th Avenue. Spectators can be seen lining the parade route on both sides of 95th Street. Some are sitting on the hoods and roofs of automobiles and trucks of the era and many are dressed in Western wear. Several police officers are seen stationed along the route for crowd control. Oak Lawn Linoleum & Tile Company located at 5408 W. 95th Street, Service Cleaner's located at 5404 W. 95th Street, and Lee's Food Shop located at 5402 W. 95th Street can be seen to the left behind the spectators. A photographer can be seen crouched in the middle of the street as vehicles in the parade approaches.
